KMD Bundle Application
Kazaa Media Desktop includes one bundled, third party application.
This bundle pays for the continued development of the KMD
software and so allow us to keep on delivering you the best
P2P experience. Sharman Networks is committed to disclosing
to users of the KMD software all the information they need
to make an informed decision on installing bundled applications
and the benefits these applications bring.
Before Sharman Networks accepts any application for bundling
with the KMD it is first put through rigorous Acceptance Testing.
The main objectives of this testing are to determine that:
- The software has an appropriate privacy policy that is
accurate and ethical in its use of users' information
- The software can be completely uninstalled in Add/Remove
Programs
- The software only does what it says it does.
- The software does not track user behavior outside of its
own domain.
We will always give you the opportunity to opt out of any
bundled applications when you install KMD. You will also
be able to safely remove them at any other time.

Warner Bros and Def Jam Records, Brilliant will help
us show that ad-powered apps can be fun!
The integrated b3d Projector sends statistics
to a webserver when you play a 3d ad in Kazaa Media
Desktop. Brilliant Digital promises us that no personally
identifiable information is collected when they whether
or not an ad has been viewed. |
