Protect your PC and the P2P network against Netsky (Win32.Netsky.B@mm) Virus
The Netsky virus (Win32.Netsky.B@mm) spreads primarily through email. It has also been reported to spread via peer-to-peer (P2P). According to reports, it tries to copy itself into any folder with "Share" or "Sharing" in the filepath: e.g. c:\program files\kazaa\shared folder.
Kazaa versions 2.5 and above come with BullGuard P2P Virus Protection default enabled. This provides an additional layer of protection within the peer-to-peer environment, over and above any antivirus software you may have already installed on your computer. BullGuard P2P protects your PC when using Kazaa, if virus scanning is enabled and virus definitions are up to date.
