Faster downloads from multiple sources
Sometimes a '+' will be displayed on the left of the file
icon in your search results in 'Search' view, or in 'Traffic'
view.
In 'Search' view the '+' means that the file to its right
is available for download from multiple sources. If you select
to download the file, it will download from those multiple
sources simultaneously. This generally makes the download
faster. To understand how files can be downloaded from multiple
sources read about P2P.
In 'Traffic' view, the '+' indicates that the file is being
downloaded from multiple sources. If you click on the '+'
you can see the multiple users who you are downloading from.
Kazaa will collect the pieces of the file from
the different users and assemble them when it is complete.
This will normally result in a faster download. Note: This
does not mean that you are downloading multiple copies of
the file. You are downloading one file, in multiple pieces,
from multiple users.
This explains how sometimes a file uploaded from you which
is complete, might show the uploaded kilobytes as less than
the total file size. This is because the user got part of
the file from someone else.
When viewing a file's download progress in 'Traffic' view,
you may encounter the file status "More sources required"
or "Remotely queued". In case you can right mouse
click on the file and select the "Find More Sources for
Download" option. Kazaa will then perform
a search for the same file in other locations and, if possible
will initiate the download immediately from an available source.

User Guide'.
