The 'Blocklist' feature allows you to prevent some items appearing in your search results.
Words you enter in the blocklist will be filtered in your search results. This means that any file which contains blocked words in its file data will be blocked from appearing in your search results, (unless it is a file distributed via Altnet*).
For example, if you entered the word "Sex" into your blocklist, and then searched for files containing the word "Education", a file named "Sex Education" would not appear in your search results as the word "Sex" is
blocked.
To add words to your blocklist go to Tools > Options and click on the Filter tab. Type each word into the ‘Blocklist’ box
separated by a comma (,).
* Words entered into the ‘Blocklist’ are not blocked if
the file is distributed via Altnet (Altnet
files are of premium quality and are marked with a Gold
Icon in your search results). Altnet content
that is of an adult nature will be blocked by the Adult
filter. If the Adult filter is off, Altnet files that are
of an adult nature will display a license screen with a
content advisory and/or a payment gateway before you can
use the file.
