Justin Timberlake Comes Around

Take the vintage inspired couture wardrobe, the opulent club, the colonial mansion and the seductive Scarlet Johansson out of Justine Timberlake’s retro stylized video ‘What Goes Around...Comes Around’ and you’re still left with Timberlake’s phenomenal talent as a singer-songwriter and producer. It didn’t take Timberlake long to emerge from his origins as sexy NSYNC teenage pinup boy and establish himself as a credible talent.

Graduating from The Mickey Mouse Club in 1994 with fellow ‘Mouseketeer’ [and girlfriend to be] Britney Spears, Timberlake took on lead vocals with the highly stylized and decidedly produced nineties formula boy band. Their successful self titled debut album sold 11 million copies thrusting them into the arena of superstar fame. Their follow-up album, ‘No Strings Attached’ broke record sales on release producing the single “Its Gonna Be Me”. By the time NSYNC released “Girlfriend”, their third album in 2002 the band had an international following capturing the teen/tween market. In the same year, Timberlake released his own album ‘Justified’ which included “Like I Love You”, and “Cry Me A River” and went on to win him a Grammy at the 2004 awards for best male vocal. With mixed success he spent two in the film industry returning to the studio to write, record and produce ’ Future Sex/Love Sounds’ with Danja. With “Sexy Back” and “My Love” both reaching number 1 on the charts the album broke record sales in its first week. Timberlake has broadened his fan base by bringing a complexity and maturity to his music and by collaborating with the best talent around.
