Hackers Tweet on Britney’s Page

Britney Spears is Not Dead

Britney Spears was pronounced dead on the social network site Twitter on the 29th June 2009. Fortunately for adoring fans of the pop princess it was hackers that posted the tweet.

The two million followers of her got the shock of their lives as the post was released unknown to her and looked to be official stating there was more news to come. The executives of Twitter shut down part of the service as they investigated how it was hacked into.

The Spear’s camp removed the prank message off the site immediately and informed the fans that she was still with us, "Britney’s Twitter was just hacked. The last message is obviously not true. She is fine and dandy spending a quiet day at home relaxing.” the new tweet declared.

This was the second time this year that Spear’s twitter page was hacked into this year. The first time a series of vulgar tweets were posted, one stating that her private parts had "razor sharp teeth" with a illustration to accompany the tweet.
